Long Jing Lu Cha (Dragon Well Green Tea)

Long Jing, also known as Dragon Well, is one of the most famous green teas in China. It comes from the Hangzhou region in Zhejiang Province and is traditionally produced by pan-firing fresh leaves in large iron woks, which gives the tea its characteristic flat, smooth shape.

This batch is made from a later spring harvest using more mature leaves. Compared to early spring Long Jing, it has a slightly deeper and rounder flavor while maintaining the clean and balanced character the tea is known for.

The infusion produces a clear pale jade liquor with a mellow, refreshing taste. Expect notes of sweet beans and toasted chestnut with a gentle lingering sweetness.

Brewing
Use 3–4 g of tea in a gaiwan or glass teapot. Brew with water at 80–85°C. Steep for 10–15 seconds for the first infusion and gradually increase the time with each following infusion.
