Morning | Coffee Killer - Tea Set
MORNING — COFFEE KILLER
A tea set for a clear, energetic start to the day — without reaching for another cup of coffee.
Coffee Killer brings together six teas with bright, expressive character: green, white, black and GABA teas selected for mornings, work and any moment when you want to feel awake and switched on. The set lets you move from fresh and light teas to deeper, more warming profiles while exploring very different styles of Chinese tea.
Purple Bud Tea from Lincang
An aromatic Yunnan tea made from purple-leaf material. Rich and expressive, with fruity, woody and lightly sweet notes and a long aftertaste.
Green Tea First Grade Pre-Qingming Pine Needle
An early-spring green tea picked before Qingming. Fresh and clean, with delicate vegetal sweetness, a light nutty character and a crisp finish.
Platinum Grace White Tea
A soft and elegant white tea with floral, honeyed and dried-fruit notes. Smooth and naturally sweet, with a gentle, lingering finish.
GABA Golden Lily Dragon Tea
A rounded GABA tea with a warm, sweet profile. Expect ripe fruit, baked and honey-like notes with a smooth, comforting body.
Black Tea Red Ruby
A fragrant black tea with a rich but clean character: ripe fruit, warm spice, honey and a deep, naturally sweet finish.
Green Tea Dragon Well (Longjing)
One of China’s classic green tea styles. Fresh and balanced, with chestnut-like sweetness, green vegetal notes and a clean finish.
How to brew
For an easy Western-style brew, use 3–5 g per 250 ml of water. Brew green teas at around 75–85°C, white tea at 85–90°C, and black/GABA teas at 90–95°C. Steep for approximately 2–3 minutes, adjusting to taste.
For Gong Fu brewing, use 5–7 g per 100–150 ml and make several short infusions, beginning around 10–20 seconds.
Best for
Best enjoyed in the morning or early afternoon, especially before work, study or a busy day. These teas naturally contain caffeine, while their different aromatic profiles make the set a more varied alternative to a habitual morning coffee.
